Tabata is a class using HIIT, high intensity, interval training. You will experience 20-30 seconds of intense workout followed by 10 seconds of recovery doing the same exercise in sets of 8. Exhausted is how you will feel after 30 minutes of Tabata. In addition to Tabata, this class will end with relaxing stretches with balance training. High calorie use and increased metabolism are some of the benefits of Tabata.
Deep water training provides a different training protocol. You will be fitted into a floatation device and perform exercise in the deep end of the pool. In the deep water, you will be totally suspended so that the core muscles are constantly engaged. Also, there is no impact on joints which makes this a great program for athletes with injuries, arthritis and other limitations. Your body will experience aerobics, strength, balance as well as flexibility.

This is a high impact, high resistance water exercise class for adults who are looking for a tougher water work out. Participants will use the force of the river for all around cardio and strength conditioning.
Various movements going with and against the current of the Lazy River will offer a cardio challenge to increase stamina while toning the larger muscle groups. Water equipment may be utilized in some segments.
